LISA McCREADIE MEMORIAL GAME 1st December 2006 added 20/11/06

Lisa McCreadie was a committed player and umpire for Boroughmuir Hockey club from her schooldays until well after Boroughmuir stopped playing at Meggetland fifteen years ago. Sadly , Lisa died last year, so to celebrate the opening of our new pitch at Meggetland, we are holding a special game dedicated to her memory.
The current 1st XI  will take on a team of veterans made up of people who played with Lisa at some point in her career.
 
I'd like to hear from anyone who would like to take part. We are selling tickets for £5, which will include food and wine in the rugby club after. Any profit we make will be donated to Cancer Research UK.

Preston Lodge Ladies (added 29/8/06) -  We are looking for a goalkeeper for a Wednesday night indoor team (playing at m/bank - Jack Kane) and also for a Saturday, however we would like to hear from anyone who can do either both days or even only one. We would provide the kit.
