SHU   East   Ladies  'VETS' 

Are you Over-35 years and looking for somewhere to keep fit by playing an hour of hockey on a lovely, soft, water-based pitch at Peffermill (usually, but not always, at noon), once a month, on the 2^nd Sunday of every month ?

We are currently a group of approx. 16 players, age range  35 -> over-60, who meet up to have a friendly game against invited opposition. Some of us still play for a Club at the weekend too, while others are ex-Club players, but we all just want to enjoy the skills of the game without the tensions of League matches.

Every year in May we send a representative team to the S.H.U. Inter-District VETS Tournament which this year 2005 will be held in North District, and over the last 16 years it has proved to be a very sociable, yet keenly contested, competition.
